Case Study:

Overhayes, Marazion

Nominated by the LABC for the ‘Best Individual New Home’ in the South West and also put forward for an award for the quality of our craftmanship.

Overview

The Project

Having put forward our price for tender, we went on to win the contract at 17 Trevenner Lane to demolish the existing bungalow and rebuild a new, 4 bedroom, 2 storey house onto the previous foundations. The dwelling’s proximity to the sea inspired its ‘beach hut’ design, complete with port-hole style windows – visualised brilliantly by Living Architects Limited. As both they and the client were based in London, project communications were primarily held over the phone and via email, with monthly progress meetings held on site.
