The new homes we build vary widely in terms of design, size, timescale and budget, but one thing that remains consistent is an optimum blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern approach. We’re all for using the latest materials and methods where appropriate (with all the cost and durability benefits they can bring) but we’re nevertheless well-aware that, sometimes, the old ways are best.
We pride ourselves in our organisation and efficiency, which ensures that projects always run smoothly. We interact closely with architects, structural engineers, surveyors and building control to ensure that our builds satisfy all design, regulatory and guarantee specifications.
Our renovation portfolio spans from simple home modifications to barn conversions, restoration projects through to bespoke alterations to commercial facilities. Our knowledgeable team are always willing to input inspirational ideas and advice to help our clients achieve the best result possible. This proactive and collaborative approach – combined with our wealth of knowledge in every aspect of building – is what enables us to consistently exceed expectations as opposed to merely ticking the boxes.
Our combined pool of knowledge and skills allows us to formulate a plan that fully maximises a building’s potential whilst satisfying both architectural and regulatory requirements – and then work expertly through the various stages to bring it to life. Having been in business since the ‘70s, we’ve formed close relationships with a vast range of builder’s merchants – which helps greatly when it comes to blending an extension with the pre-existing structure.
Our purpose-built workshop is dedicated to the production of timber frame panels. Once manufactured these can be delivered to site on a supply-only basis or on a supply-and-fit package. We also specialise in roof trusses, floor joists, feature trusses and Glu-lam structures, which are available to both trade and the individual. Structural engineer’s calculations are provided on all packages. Additionally, we can assist in a variety of configurations to meet U-Value, SAP and air permeability testing – fundamental criteria to meet Building Regulation requirements.
